The initial reaction from our audience was actually quite pleasing, because although everyone seemed quite shocked by the video it showed it had completely taken them by surprise and this is what we wanted from our audience. They were puzzled by the video and a few people at the end said that this made them want to watch it again.
We did get some good feedback from our audience. There were really good comments about how good the green screening was with some people saying they didn't even realise that green screen was used. There was generally a better reaction from our male audience which is what we initially apprehended when thinking about our target audience.
Although some of the comments were negative a lot of these were just opinions over how they felt about the video and they were given by people who would never listen to this genre of music in the first place.
I think one thing that stood out through our audience feedback was that we achieved our brand image successfully, but we didn't quite portray the narrative of our video effectively.
