Synopsis

Based on the previous analysis of the song lyrics we have come up with a synopsis for our music video. The idea of our music video is that it is the goings on inside the artists mind. Our music video starts with a zoom into the eye of our artist. This means that we are reflecting the idea of going inside their head. We are then shown a P.O.V shot of somone walking through a house up some stairs and into a room with some doors in it. This is meant to represent the corridors of his mind, which we as well as the artist are now walking through. In the room with all of the doors a torchlight is shone on each one in succession. Behind each door is a different world with different senarios and odd occurances. These are supposed to represent the wierd thoughts and ideas which are going on in the mind of the artist. Here is a list of what is behind the doors:-
- Someone dressed as a lion in a dead forest.
- The artist walking through the rubble of a demolition site.
- A theatre with a clown and the artist tied to a chair.
- The artist walking up to a mirror and seeing himself holding a knife and a sign.
- An ECU of someone smoking, but in reverse motion (so that the ciggarette gets bigger rather than smaller)
- A shot of someone hanging themselves in reverse motion (so that the person gets up and walks away at the end.
The differents scenes depicted are not necessarily supposed to make sense. They are merely to give th impression of someone going insane, in this wierd nightmare-ish world.

At the end of our video we are going to include an ECU of the artists eye opening. This indicates a return to the real world and the normality of it.
