This past week we have begun filming and editing our videos. Last weekend the group came over to my house and we filmed the first section of our video. We filmed the section with the doors and the demolition site scene.
When we were filming this section, we had to make sure that we got plenty of footage. This meant that we can hopefully save time in the future as we will have a massive variety of slighty different shots, which means that we should have enough footage should some of the filming have gone wrong. The demoltion site is spread out in two locations, so by getting extra material and filming all of the site it means that nor only will we have extra footage, but it will help us to better develop our mise-en-scene and interest an audience.
Another scene that we filmed was the backwards smoking shot. We filmed this within college on Friday morning. Danielle and Alistair filmed this scene and I then uploaded the footage onto final cut. I have started splitting up the first scenes, with the doors and the demolition site, but we have yet to split up this scene into it's individual shots.
Our plan is to film the sequence with (Magda) on Wednesday, however this may be weather dependant unless we change our plan and decide to film using the green screen.
