Sequence synopsis

We have completed our storyboard, and the full synopsis of our music video has taken shape.

The sequence starts off with a high-angle shot of the artist (Lewis) led down, as if dead. The camera then zooms into the artist's eye, and the music starts.

Sound: A "blowing wind" sound effect

When the music starts, there is a POV shot of our artist walking upstairs with a torch, he then opens a door and walks into a room.

The basic concept of the video, is that our artist opens various doors, and inside each door is a different scene.

The first scene our artist walks into is a scene where he is met by a lion (Magda) staring at the camera, the camera then pans around to reveal a long-shot of the same lion sitting on a chair between some trees, the chair is then pushed over, and the lion falls back in slow motion.

The next scene is a shot of some theatre curtains opening, and a long-shot of a person tied to a chair under a spotlight is revealed. A clown (Evie) then steps into the spotlight holding up a sign, followed by a close-up of the clown smiling.

This is followed by a close-up shot of someone smoking a cigarette, but in reverse, so that it looks as though the cigarette is growing rather than shrinking.

The next scene is a close-up shot of a demolition sign, followed by a long-shot of the demolition site, which then changes to a long shot of the trees (the same place as the lion scene), where the artist pops up all over the screen.

The last scene is a scene of a hanging in reverse. The shots go in this order:

Close-up of the chair falling over
Close-up of person (Not decided who yet, either Me or Lewis) putting the noose around their neck
Close-up of feet standing on chair

All of these shots will be in reverse, so the chair will not actually be falling, but going from led on the floor to upright.

At the end of this scene, the camera cuts back to the first shot of the artist led on the floor. His eye opens, the music ends, and the scene fades to black.

There will be lip-syncing where appropriate.
